Create a sleep routine to help you ease your anxiety before going to bed.

During times of high stress it is important to get enough sleep for your body to stay healthy and have the energy to support your daily activity.

Here’s a few A+ Tips to Get Your Z’s:

  • Try to gain between 7-8 hours of sleep a night.

  • Create a healthy sleep environment to be able to unwind and get a quality night's sleep.

  • Incorporate into your sleep routine reading, taking a warm shower, or practicing relaxation exercises before bed.

  • As part of your sleep routine remember to unplug from your electronic devices because the stimulation from watching a show or scrolling through your social media timeline can make it more difficult for your body to recognize its time to rest. Put away or turn off these devices half an hour (ideally an hour!!) before you try to sleep.
