Stress Reduction through Mindfulness Practices

In this class you will learn and perform several mindfulness practices, including mindfulness meditation, that will enable you to reduce your stress level and become more present. This class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and practice. Regular mindfulness practice increases benefits to the mind and body. These benefits include cultivating calm, clarity, joy, and self-compassion.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind
Wednesday, February 20th 2019
Students will come together every Tuesday, to discuss body image and the pressures experienced by society, the media, and culture. Students who have experienced challenges with food (compulsive overeating, under-eating, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating or over-excercising) are encouraged to join this group to help in the process of healing. This group will be in collaboration with Overeaters Anonymous.
